Bolivia Missions 2027 Reunion
Welcome to the 1976-1978 Bolivian Missions FIFTYISH Missionary Reunion site.
A few of us under the delusion that fifty years ago we were blessed to participate in a great and marvelous work, have in our weakened state, chosen to find each and every one of the missionaries serving in Bolivia those fifty years ago.
Thus, we propose holding a fiftish missionary reunion sometime probably mid year in 2027. Between now and then, please help find and invite all 300-400 of us. As we dig up old lists of the missionaries serving during the years 1976, 1977, and 1978 we will list them on the site. We want to put on our Sherlock, Jessica, Columbo, Monk, or Kojak private investigator hats and find them all. Think of it as the Gathering of Israel, Bolivia Missionary style.
So, here's the deal. Register yourself. You will find your name already listed here. We've put in the names of every missionary we could find from lists of who were released in those years. Claim yourself then invite all our fellow missionaries you can find to do the same. All you need to do is share the link and invite. If there is a missionary not listed, you should email missionary@boliviamissions.com. (right now, that email should come to Elder Kent Merrell, who is known as the lucky bugger that got to marry Hermana Locatelli) Think of it as a great pyramid network marketing scheme - but with no obligation to fill your garage with soap.
The committee (most of whom don't know they are on the committee yet) haven't made any plans other than to find our friends where ever they might be. For those who are serving missions on the other side of the veil, we want to remember them as well. You will see them honored on this site as we gather and include their story.
Just a quick note: The software on this site was originally designed for class reunions. So once in a while you will see something that doesn't appear or sound missionaryish—go with the flow.
We will do all our communicating through email, so please provide email addresses that you will access over the next couple years.

The Cochabamba Bolivia temple is what we and the Bolivians prayed and worked for. Now we can get together and celebrate some of our successes.
